Today is my last day in China for the next eight weeks. Here are some ways I've seen Him be faithful, in random order.
--bringing a new love for China into my heart, especially second semester.
--plenty of food, even cheese. I've had cheese at least once every week since October, and that is a HUGE thing for me.
--Jenn, Elise, Fallon, Sarah, Stephanie, Gretchen, Mindy, Kristie, Karen, Hisako, and all the other women around me who have reached out to encourage me, listen to me, and be my friend.
--my Chinese sisters here who stay strong for Him and are such an encouragement to me.
--my friends within ELIC/China who have been faithful to write, skype, visit, and encourage--specifically Lizzie, Abby, and Polly.
--all of my students who have helped me out, and been willing to tolerate my clueless foreign-ness and help me learn to do things, and who have expanded my world.
--my friends at home who lift me up regularly, email me, and who send love and packages at times.
--iTunes for music and podcasts to keep my soul watered.
--the Word to keep my soul fed.
--the laughter and fun times that have happened, sometimes unexpectedly, always just when I needed it.
--my parents who support me in everything and are there for me all the time.
--the cross
--that I have Spanish students who follow Him
--that I've had a chance to speak truth into hungry hearts this semester
--that HE is good and His love endures forever.
There are so many more things, but I must stop for now. His love and faithfulness endure forever!
