Back in America for a short visit, I've tried to catch up on American life. What better place to do that than on The Learning Channel (TLC)? I've learned a lot from TLC this last week actually. It's got a lot of strange shows, a few of which I've watched with fascinated horror.
So here's a list of things I've learned, courtesy of TLC.
1. 4 women trying to share 1 husband makes for a lot of challenges.
2. The Little Couple has a LOT of money!!
3. I'm glad I'm not getting married right now, surrounded by catty and unsupportive bridesmaids as I try to pick out a dress.
4. Life's "greatest" moments are often filled with stress and tears.
5. Bariatric surgery doesn't solve all your problems.
6. Having quintuplets is really hard.
7. Everyone has insecurities and needs love.
8. There are lots of people with poor fashion sense out there.
9. People can be so self-deceived they don't even know they're pregnant.
10. I'm glad I don't weigh 600 pounds!!
Yikes, America, how do we have so many strange people that TLC is able to produce endless shows like these?
